On a sunny afternoon in Bryant Park, NYC, Rose celebrates her son’s birthday. Then she receives a phone call. She’s warned her son is locked in the crosshairs of a long-range rifle. The trigger will be pulled unless Rose can force her husband to flip his vote on the Senate floor. Can Rose outmaneuver this impossible situation?

AMIE MARGOLES
Originally from Los Angeles, Amie studied Meisner technique (Ted Bardy Studio), improv and sketch (People’s Improv Theatre), and took two degrees in music performance (University of Northern Colorado and University of Miami). She is thrilled and grateful for the opportunity to tackle the role of Rose for her premier performance at the Tank. Embracing her roles with grace, moxie, and mischief, she delivers delightful performances for audiences on stage and on camera. Her most recent roles are as Dana, in the new film, Sleeping With Gus (currently screening in festivals) and on stage as Inez in Jean-Paul Sartre’s No Exit at Philadelphia’s Fringe festival, Brigid in The Maltese Falcon, Maribel in George S. Kaufman’s Helen of Troy, NY, Hero in Much Ado About Nothing, and Eleutheria in Ubu in Chains. Amie can also be seen performing Sketch regularly at the People’s Improv Theatre.
JILLIE SIMON
Classically trained actor, writer, and filmmaker Jillie began her career in theater, performing Off-Broadway at the The Public Theater and in “Tony and Tina’s Wedding,” with regional credits ranging from Bianca in Othello to Babe in “Crimes of the Heart.” She has appeared opposite celebrated performers including Marlo Thomas, Marian Seldes, Austin Pendleton, Joyce Randolph, Tom Wopat, and Jack Mulcahy.
Her feature film credits include roles in “You Have the Right to Remain Violent,” “Confess” alongside Melissa Leo, A Beautiful Mind (directed by Ron Howard), “The Incoherents,” and “Prince Harming.” On television and web series, she has appeared on The Chris Rock Show, held a recurring role on As the World Turns, and performed sketch and improv comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade and NY Comedy Club.
Most recently, Jillie co-wrote, co-directed, co-produced, and starred in the romantic dramedy/spy comedy “Real, True, 100 Percent Love,” currently in post-production. Her two short films have screened at 62 film festivals worldwide, earning a combined 36 awards.
MELISSA WOLFF
Melissa has appeared in web series, short films and in numerous plays in NYC, regional theaters and in the Edinburgh; Washington, DC; and New York fringe festivals. She has also recorded voiceovers for television, radio and product marketing campaigns. Melissa is an active member of the Tuesdays@9 community in NYC and is a proud board member of Naked Angels. Yale graduate.
MIKE JANKOWITZ
Mike Jankowitz trained with famed acting teacher Stella Adler. He has appeared in several dozen productions in New York and regionally as well as occasional film and television appearances. Most recently he acted in the premiere production of Alex Emanuel’s one act play Hallucy in the 2025 Chain Theatre Summer one act Festival. Mike is also a playwright; his latest play, Only the Dead, dealing with war crimes committed against Canadian troops during World War II, was presented in 2024 in Normandy for the 80th anniversary of D-Day.

Drawn to their stripped-down mechanics of suspense, razor-sharp wit, and ordinary people discovering unexpected resourcefulness and courage to survive, Tobias plunged into creating his own modern spin on this delicious genre.
